How does Hartis work?
You will receive a Holter/ Event ECG recording
In consultation with your doctor, you have decided to have a heart rhythm study. This examination gives your doctor important information about the functioning of your heart, both at rest and during exercise. Your doctor can connect the ECG recorder to you, if the practice has an ECG recorder. If not, the GP can request a Holter at Home, after which Hartis will send a package with all supplies to your home.
The physician's assistant will attach an ECG recorder to your body. If you received a package at home, you connect the ECG recorder to yourself. If you need additional help with connection, you can call the Hartis Help Desk for telephone support. For physical assistance in connecting, please visit your practice.
After the ECG recorder is connected and started, your heart rhythm is recorded continuously. If you experience a complaint, you can press the button. A mark will then be made on the ECG. A diary should be kept during the examination, in which you record your symptoms and activities. This diary can be completed digitally or on paper.
At the end of the examination, return the ECG recorder to the practice, or return it via the return envelope provided. This is only applicable if you have received a home package. The ECG will be removed from the recorder and sent securely to Hartis. The ECG is analyzed and reviewed by the Hartis medical team. The results will be sent to your physician within 2 to 3 business days.
All health insurance companies reimburse for this examination. Like other diagnostic tests, this examination is charged to the legally required deductible.
You will receive a 24-hour Home Blood Pressure Monitor
You have decided in consultation with your general practitioner to have a 24-hour blood pressure measurement. The general practitioner can request the 24-hour blood pressure measurement through ZorgDomein or through the Hartis Portal. Hartis will send a package to your home after receiving the request, containing the blood pressure monitor, instruction book, activity diary and return envelope.
After wearing the blood pressure monitor for 24 hours, turn off the blood pressure monitor and return it to Hartis in the return envelope. Upon receipt, we will remove the registration from the blood pressure monitor and the registration will be analyzed and reviewed by the Hartis Medical Team. The results will be sent to your physician within 2 to 3 business days.
Most health insurance companies reimburse for this examination. Like other diagnostic tests, however, this examination is charged to the legally required deductible.
If you are insured with a health insurance company with which Hartis has an agreement, we will bill your health insurance company directly. If Hartis does not have an agreement with your health insurer, we will invoice you directly.
The invoice should be declared to your health insurance company by yourself.
