Arrhythmias
Basic Training - Re-entry Focal Arrhythmias
Description of training
The ECG is ideally suited to properly assess an arrhythmia. For many abnormalities, an ECG is directional but with an arrhythmia, you can really make a diagnosis. To understand the ECG, it is good to go to the basics of arrhythmias. What types are there and how does a disorder develop? What is the difference between a focal arrhythmia and one based on a re-entry circuit and can you make this distinction based on the ECG?
In this Webinar, we will explore this in depth and teach you how to recognize the different arrhythmias and how to relate them to the mechanism of the abnormality. Why are some arrhythmias so persistent and unresponsive to medication and why aren't others? At the end of the training you will have a good basis for further study of the different arrhythmias such as SVTs and VTs.
